Nepal Government on May 20, 2020 have officially included the Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura areas in the Nepal’s map. With this, there have been going a tremendous hate and debate from the neighbouring country India which they have invoked the Nepal’s land before 4 decades.
With this step, one question have arise to the telecom operator of Nepal that can they expand their services to those areas. So still there is no fixed time that they will provide services there because that area have been falsely acquired by the Indian. So after resolving this issues only, the telecom operators could expand their services.
Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura lies in the Far-Western region of Nepal. This contains three highland villages -Gunji, Navi and Kuti, which the Nepali state had considered as its own. A census was conducted in this area in 1953, parliamentary elections were held in 1959, and land registration records from here were kept at the Darchula district office.
